Ultrasonic Cleaner Makes 3D Printer Maintenance Easier
June 20th, 2012Thirty years ago, when I first heard about them, machines that could produce three-dimensional models of a given shape were called rapid prototyping machines. Nowadays, they’re commonly called 3D printers. Either way, these machines extrude a resin and hardener (or a hardener into a resin reservoir) in specific shapes, building up a physical model of a computer model. This video might take the prize for the most boring ultrasonic cleaner video we’ve seen, but it makes the point: an ultrasonic cleaner takes care of that messy job.
