We had to come down to Earth sometime. Just yesterday we reported on a unique and interesting application for the ultrasonic cleaner: transferring DNA from solution to the interior of bacteria. Today we highlight a more mundane application: cleaning rifle parts. Of course, that is in itself interesting, that one tool can have such dramatically different applications.
