Ultrasonic Cleaning of Dentures Highly Recommended

Regular Cleaning of Dentures Critical
In a post by the Department of Geriatric Medicine of the University of Oklahoma, they describe how to handle denture cleaning products. Removable dentures should be removed nightly and placed in a denture-cleaning solution. The denture cleaner is either alkaline peroxide or hypochlorite. Brush the dentures lightly every day. Dentures should be labeled so that they go back to the correct person. Labeling procedures are clearly mentioned. Daily cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner is also highly recommended.
