Carbon Cycle Measurement Depends on Effective Ultrasonic Cleaning
December 1st, 2011
Measuring Carbon Cycle will depend on the work efficiency of an ultrasonic cleaner.
There is now a clear consensus in the scientific community that human activities are altering the climate balance of the Earth. The scientific consensus is gradually making its way into policy, both governmental and organizational. The US Department of Defense is one organization making changes to minimize the environmental impact of its operations. In a bulletin from the Hazardous Technical Information Services section of the Defense Logistics Agency, a series of alternatives for cleaning solutions are introduced. As part of this effort, the DoD has adopted the USDA’s designation of Bio-based Products for Federal Procurement and added nine classes of approved “Bio-based Products.” Among those classes are parts-wash solutions, which must be 65 percent bio-based to be classified as bio-based. These products include those “designed to clean parts in manual or automatic cleaning systems. Such systems include, but are not limited to, soak vats and tanks, cabinet washers, and ultrasonic cleaners.”
