Bleomycin Separation
This illustrates the chromatographic separation of Bleomycin sulphate,
a mixture of cytotoxic glycopeptide antibiotics used in the treatment
of various types of carcinoma.
The USP assay procedure defines a 60 minute binary gradient followed
by an isocratic elution.
The separation can be greatly accelerated using a much steeper gradient
(30 min) followed by the isocratic elution. |
