Pick a dryer for your tank

Elmadry units pair with common tank sizes to keep workflows moving after ultrasonic cleaning and rinsing.

Compact dryer

For Elmasonic 30/40 benchtop tanks and small parts loads.

  • Fast warm-air drying for small assemblies and labware.
  • Great next step after Select, E Plus, or P-line cleaning.

Mid-size dryer

Handles baskets from popular 100/120-class tanks.

  • Select warm or cold air; protects sensitive finishes.
  • Cover to create flow turbulence and speed drying.

Large-capacity dryer

For higher throughput and larger parts.

  • Fits one Elmasonic 300 basket or three Elmasonic 60 baskets.
  • Dust filter prevents room dust from re-contaminating parts.

Drying best practices

Rinse then dry

Rinse parts after cleaning to remove residues, then move directly to the dryer to avoid spotting.

Use baskets

Keep parts organized in baskets so you can transfer directly from tank to dryer without handling damage.

Watch heat-sensitive parts

Dry with ambient temperature air or air heated to 70°C.

Drying unit FAQs

Which dryer matches my tank?

Match dryer chamber size to your basket footprint. Dryers come in three sizes: 30 (small), 120 (mid-size), and 300 (large). Elma Dry 30 fits one Elmasonic 30 or 40 basket. Elma Dry 120 fits one Elmasonic 100 or 120 basket; or two Elmasonic 30 or 40 baskets. Elma Dry 300 fits one Elmasonic 150 or 300 basket; two Elmasonic 100 or 120 baskets; or three Elmasonic 60 baskets.

Can I dry delicate parts?

Yes. Elma Dry units have very gentle air flow for sensitive parts. If parts are heat sensitive, select cold air drying.

Do I need a separate rack?

Use your existing baskets to keep parts spaced for even drying and minimal handling.

How do I avoid water spots?

Rinse with deionized water when possible and move parts to the dryer immediately after cleaning. Depending on the level of cleanliness required, more than one rinsing step may be needed.
