Our Story
Tovatech was founded in July 2005 by two Ph.D. chemists, Dr. Rachel Kohn and Dr. Robert Sandor, to provide technically informed distribution of laboratory and industrial equipment. From the outset, the company's mission has been to serve the scientific and technical community by applying deep subject-matter expertise to help customers select solutions that precisely meet their application requirements.
The founders bring extensive hands-on laboratory and analytical experience, including direct use of many of the instruments Tovatech represents. This practical background enables Tovatech to provide a level of technical guidance, application support, and product insight that goes well beyond the capabilities of a typical equipment distributor. Tovatech's ultrasonic cleaner product line, now the company's largest category, was selected based on Dr. Kohn's direct laboratory experience with these systems and her confidence in their value in demanding research and industrial applications.
