Elmasolvex
Explosion-proof parts cleaning system.
- Explosion-proof
- Programmable
- Vacuum
- Precise Parts Ready.
Elmasolvex VA is a compact, completely automated solvent cleaning system for very small precision parts.
NRTL safety-certified for use with solvents with flashpoint ≧12℃.
Solvent vapors are extracted via exhaust tubes or absorbed in optional activated carbon unit.
Comes with predefined standard cleaning programs. Additional programs are freely definable by the user. Set time, ultrasonic frequency, and rotation/oscillation speed for repeatable 4-stage cleaning and rinsing sequences.
Cleaning with vacuum technology enables the solvent to access otherwise not accessible areas of geometrically complicated parts.
Solvent is filtered when transferred from media tank to cleaning chamber. This prevents particulates from contaminating the cleaning chamber enhancing cleaning performance and extending useful lifetime of solvent.
Fits labs and service benches that need solvent cleaning for very small parts.
Fine mechanisms that need ultrasonic solvent cleaning. Wide range of parts holders available.
Delicate components that require controlled solvent handling.
Documented cycles, filtration, and repeatable recipes for regulated environments.
The cleaning is performed under vacuum; without oxygen the solvent vapor cannot ignite. The unit uses sealed chambers, safety interlocks, rated controls, and vapor extraction for further protection.
Best for labs, service benches, and small-batch production that need validated solvent cleaning in a compact unit.
Yes. Built-in filtration helps extend solvent life; follow your change-out schedule for compliance.
Small precision parts such as watch components, optics components, connectors, and medical device subassemblies.
Ventilation is needed for filling and emptying the media tanks. Operation of the unit does not need ventilation because it discharges solvent vapor directly to an exhaust system or to the outside. Use per your EHS plan.
Cleaning media must have a flashpoint ≧12℃. Rinsing media must have a boiling point not exceeding 170℃ for successful drying. Examples of solvents acceptable for cleaning and rinsing include aliphatic C8-C11 hydrocarbons and C3 or higher alkyl compounds. Ethers should not be used. Special solvent formulations are available for optimized cleaning.
